A washed-up sitcom horse cannot separate the wholesome dad he played for nine seasons from the drowning narcissist he actually is, and the show treats this confusion as the central wound of celebrity itself. The performance becomes a parasite, feeding on the host until the host can no longer remember which gestures originated in the script and which in the body.
